Otto-Harris LakesLocated 13 miles east of Hoyt Lakes on the Superior National Forest Scenic Byway. Otto and Harris Lakes are quiet isolated lakes creating the perfect peaceful location for those looking for solitude while hiking. The hiking trail is eight miles long winding between Otto and Harris Lake making for stunning scenery and great wildlife viewing opportunities. Both lakes have walleye, pan fish and northern pike fish species.Directions: From Hoyt Lakes drive east on Superior National Forest Scenic Byway 13.4 miles. Continue four miles east on the Byway (Country Road 16) to Forest Road 416. Drive four miles south on Forest Road 416 to parking area. A 1/2 mile portage takes you to Otto Lake.
